One
of my favorite things to do is watch movies. Some of my favorites are Schindler's
List, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Godfather 1 & 2, The Usual Suspects,
L.A. Confidential, Shashank Redemption, Dead Poet's Society, The Crow and
many more. Heres a look at the movies that I have mentioned.

This
film presents an excellent true story of how Oskar Schindler, a member
of the Nazi party, and war profiteer saved more than 1,100 Jewish lives
during the Holocaust. It shows how he made a difference in the hearts of
many people and what those people went through during one of the most horrid
times that this century has witnessed. He managed to save their lives despite
the hatred and evil that he knew and triumphed over it. This film is based
on the novel by Thomas Keneally and magnificently directed by Steven Spielberg.
It stars Liam Neeson as Schindler, Ben Kingsley as Itzhak Stern and Ralph
Fiennes portraying the unforgettable role of the evil Amon
Goethe. I highly recommend for you to view this film.

This trilogy tells the story of the rise
and fall of the Corleone family. Vito Corleone was first named Vito Andolini
and escaped Italy after his father, mother and brother had been killed
by Don Ciccio. When he landed on Ellis Island he was mistakenly named Vito
Corleone after his hometown in Italy and so began the story of his life
in America. The first part of this trilogy presents the story of the fall
of Don Vito Corleone and the rise of his son Michael as the Don. The second
part shows the early days of Vito Corleone's life and his rise in power.
It also tells how his son Michael is running the Corleone family and how
certain people in the family betray him. I have yet to see the third part
of this trilogy and don't plan on doing so. I feel that the story should
have been left alone after the second part. Marlon Brando stars as Don
Vito Corleone, James Caan as Sonny Corleone, Al Pacino as Michael
Corleone and Robert Duvall as Tom Hagen. The second part also has Robert
Dinero portraying the role as a young Vito Corleone. These 3 films were
directed by the one and only Francis Ford Copalla and are based on the
novel by Mario Puzo. I also highly recommend that you watch these 3 films.

This is a most intriguing movie and has a
most unbelieveable outcome. It all starts out with a cargo boat going up
in flames in San Pedro, California. The boat was believed to have $91 million
in cocaine on board so U.S. Customs Special Agent David Kujan sets out
to find out what really went on that night on that boat. All that is left
of the boat is a floating carcass, a Hungarian who is almost dead and shouting
"Keyser Soze" from his hospital bed and Roger "Verbal" Kint, a crippled
con from New York. David Kujan finds Verbal and starts to interrogate Kint
who starts to weave together a story that began six weeks earlier at a
police lock-up in New York. When it all began there were five of them.
Five criminals, all originally accused of hijacking a truckload of gun
parts in Queens. They all were felons, they all were suspected of the hijacking,
they were all brought in for that line-up and they all were terrified of
one man, one criminal, one man so fabled that it was hard to believe he
existed, they all feared, Keyser Soze. But the only man who can identify
Soze is the Hungarian. So while the FBI sketch artist is sketching what
the Hungarian tells him Soze looks like, Verbal Kint is taking Kujan slowly
through each step he took before he was in that interrogation office. Who
is Keyser Soze? If you watch this movie you'll find out and most definately
will not be dissapointed.

"Keaton once said, 'I don't believe in God,
but I'm afraid of him.' Well I believe in God, and the only thing that
scares me is Keyser Soze."

Jack Vincennes (Kevin Spacey) becomes involved
in a murder investigation with Ed Exley (Guy Pearce) and Bud White (Rusell
Crowe). Ed Exley is one of the 'good' cops in the L.A.P.D. and is despised
by almost all of his fellow cops. Bud White on the other hand is determined
to serve justice. Especially towards women beaters. Exley handles a call
one night for the Nite Owl cafe. When he arrives at the cafe, two other
policemen tell him that at least one person is dead. When he enters the
cafe he not only finds one person but many others brutally shot as well.
This executed the murder investigation. One of the main persons in this
investigation is Lynn Bracken (Kim Basinger). White questions Bracken because
he thinks she has something to do with the murder but ends up falling in
love with her. Both detectives end up trying to solve the same case under
the watch of their boss, Capt. Dudley Smith (James Cromwell). As both detectives
progress in the investigation and begin to put the pieces of this puzzling
mystery together they become isolated from those they trust. In the end,
it is an awesome movie.
